Dr. Allyson Drummond is a central Maine native, born and raised in Augusta. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Vermont in 2016 and graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Prior to joining the WVH team as a doctor, she worked at WVH as an assistant during her summer breaks throughout veterinary school. 

Dr. Drummond’s special interests include feline medicine, dermatology, and nutrition. She has a passion for all things cat and proudly considers herself a “cat lady.” She is fear-free certified and strives to make each visit a positive experience for both pet and owner. Dr. Drummond lives in Auburn with her boyfriend and their many feline children.
